We Welcome Sajid Javid's Comments on Immigration Policy

Responding to Home Secretary Sajid Javid and his comments on future immigration policy and the net migration target, James Pitman, a spokesperson for Destination for Education, said:

“We welcome Sajid Javid’s comments noting the “perception problem” that exists due to the inclusion of international students in the net migration target. We agree that there needs to be a shift in the Home Office’s approach and look forward to working with them as they move away from the “hostile environment” policy of recent years. We expect that the Migration Advisory Committee include these considerations in their upcoming report to the Government.”
